By public transport to Copenhagen Island
From Copenhagen Airport to Copenhagen Island
There are several options if you are coming from Copenhagen Airport.
You can take the metro line M2 directly from Terminal 3 to Nørreport St., where you transfer to the S-train A, B, C, or E, and then travel 3 stops to Dybbølsbro, where you get off. From there, it takes 6 minutes to walk to Copenhagen Island. It takes approximately 37 minutes to get from the airport to the hotel.
You can also take the metro line M2 to Kongens Nytorv and transfer to line M4 towards København Syd and get off at the Havneholmen metro station. From Havneholmen, it is a 5-minute walk to the hotel. The entire trip takes about 30 minutes.
From DFDS Terminal/Langelinie Port to Copenhagen Island
If you are arriving in Copenhagen by the Oslo ferry, take bus 27 to Østerport Station and get off at Østerport Station (Oslo Plads). Then switch to the S-train lines A, B, C or E, ride for 4 stops, and disembark at Dybbølsbro. From there, it is a 6-minute walk to the hotel. The journey takes approximately 27 minutes from the terminal to the hotel.
From Oceankaj (Cruise Ships) to Copenhagen Island
If you arrive by a cruise ship, take bus 164 towards Ballerup Station and get off at Strandvænget (Strandvejen). Then take the S-train lines A, B, C or E to Dybbølsbro Station, and from there it is a 6-minute walk to Copenhagen Island. It takes about 38 minutes from the terminal to the hotel.
(Note that some smaller ships dock at Toldboden or Langelinie).
By Metro or S-Train to Copenhagen Island
The nearest metro station to Copenhagen Island is Havneholmen, where line M4 operates (M4 runs in one direction towards København Syd and in the other direction towards Orientkaj).
Havneholmen is only 400 meters from Copenhagen Island, and the walk to the hotel takes 5 minutes.
The nearest S-train station is Dybbølsbro Station.
By harbor bus to Copenhagen Island
Copenhagen Island is easily accessible by harbor bus. Please note that the harbor buses have different route numbers depending on whether they are heading north or south:
- Harbor bus 991 – sails from Orientkaj and heads towards Teglholmen (south)
- Harbor bus 992 – sails from Teglholmen (Østkajen) and heads towards Orientkaj (north)
Both lines stop at "bryggebroen," which is the closest stop to Copenhagen Island. from the stop, it only takes five minutes to walk to the hotel. Uou just need to cross the bridge Bryggebroen (which the stop is named after) and follow the signs to the hotel Copenhagen Island.
If you are coming from other central locations in Copenhagen
The harbor bus has several stops along the waterfront. For example, if you are at Nyhavn, you can take line 991 southbound. If you are at The Royal Library, you can take line 992 northbound. Remember to get off at the "bryggebroen" stop.

All taxis operate with a meter and accept Dankort, as well as most international credit cards. During peak hours (from 7.30AM to 9.30AM and 3.30PM to 5.30PM on weekdays) additional travel time and higher prices should be expected.
